Eco-Friendly Brand Identity & Web Design for Bespoke Natural Play Areas

The Challenge

Wildwood UK creates bespoke natural habitats and wild play areas designed to inspire future generations to connect with and care for nature. As a growing business, they needed a brand identity that communicated their expertise and passion for the environment, while attracting more customers and setting them apart from competitors.

I began by exploring what made Wildwood UK unique: their work isn’t just about creating play areas; it’s about shaping ecosystems that actively nurture and enhance biodiversity. This led me to the concept of "ecosystem engineers"—keystone species that manipulate their environment in ways that benefit the entire ecosystem. It was the perfect way to describe Wildwood’s approach.

With that in mind, I created a visual identity that communicated this idea. The logo featured a wolf—a true ecosystem engineer—embodying Wildwood’s deep connection with nature and its role in shaping thriving environments. The design was bold, yet natural, and tied together the concepts of wildness, balance, and sustainability.

To complement the identity, I also developed a professional website that highlighted Wildwood’s bespoke services, showcased their past work, and made it easy for potential customers to get in touch.
