The Challenge

Sustainable Garden Solutions were already well-known in their space — a busy team doing high-end, sustainability-led work — but their brand had become a little tired. It still held recognition, but visually it felt flat, muted and stuck in the past. They needed an identity that still felt like them, but clearly communicated the premium, progressive and nature-positive approach they’re known for.


The Solution

Rather than tearing everything up and starting again, I treated this as an evolution. I took the existing brand foundations — the core shapes, marks and feel — and elevated them. The colour palette was refined and brightened with more uplifting accents, icon language was sharpened, and typography was modernised to feel more confident.

It was about keeping the legacy — while injecting energy, optimism and momentum. A refinement, not a re-invention.

The refreshed identity now matches the quality of their work. It feels contemporary, memorable, and more aligned with who they are today — and where they’re heading next. The brand holds onto its heritage, but with a brighter, more optimistic personality that stands out in the premium garden design space — helping SGS continue to grow with clarity and confidence.
